Abstract
|
|
|
Purpose :With the development of society and economy, traffic accident rate is increasing accordingly. And as the number of women who are involved in social activities and driving is going up, more women in pregnancy get hurt and damaged by traffic accident. It is true that these traffic accident victims during pregnancy don’t get proper treatment in western medicine due to the difficulty of instant diagnosis and positive treatment. this is where approach from the perspective of oriental OB & GY is definitely needed. So the purpose of this study is to report clinical managements of traffic accident victims during pregnancy.
Methods :The patient in this case, 26-year-old, was hospitalized in order to cure neck pain and low back pain occured from traffic accident on the 13th week of pregnancy. This patient was treated with the acupunture and herbal medicine. And we investigate the clinical managements of oriental OB & GY for traffic accident victims during pregnancy.
Results and Conclusion:We think that we have to take three things into account ; maintenance of pregnancy(保胎), relief(安神) and pain control(止痛) in order to manage traffic accident victims during pregnancy. And studies on concrete methods of clinical managements should be continued.
